As a co-founder of Partner Economics, George is accomplished and forward-thinking with over 30 years’ experience strategically propelling Microsoft partner businesses forward. A thought leader and pioneer in the areas of Partner Business Model and Cloud Transformation, George has worked on strategic projects with Microsoft and Navision since 1997. George has also held senior roles including CEO of Aston Group NA, board member of several ISV’s and large-scale VAR’s and most recently was Chief Revenue Officer for jet Global, the world’s largest Microsoft Dynamics ISV by unit volume. Having been involved in more than 100 sales and purchase of related Microsoft Dynamics partners, he knows where the value lies in these businesses.
A strategic thinker, his expertise has been utilized to create significant bodies of work, including the channel transformation strategy for Microsoft’s partner ecosystem Cloud transition. George is the architect and contributing author to their Road 2 Repeatability framework and courseware, designed to help Microsoft partners accelerate their business model transition. Adept at anticipating changes in the market, George has also developed innovative and cutting-edge sales and marketing approaches which help partners keep pace with the evolution in their clients’ buying behaviors.
About Dana Willmer
Also a co-founder of Partner Economics, Dana has been a driving force behind Cloud adoption for both software publishers and their channel Partners over the last decade.
In that time, he has provided strategic advice to scores of technology publishers and resellers, independent software vendors, managed services providers, hosters, and systems integrators on 4 continents. He is also the author or co-author of numerous assets, publications and financial models for Microsoft, which help resellers ensure they get “the right things right” in their critical business model transition. His work has been consistently regarded as best in class by executives, resellers, and industry analysts alike.
More recently, his proprietary research among early movers in the Cloud has chronicled the “best practices” that have been proven to accelerate business model transition, reduce the attendant risk, and build shareholder value.
